I'll have to check several sources before I can believe anything I read online. They should lock these hackers up and throw away the key! Also, if you need to send personal and confidential information through email, be sure you use email encryption to securely send encrypted messages, documents, and files. I use this free service to send and receive encrypted emails at https://www.sendinc.com/

Re: News International faces threats over hacked emails

"happy", not really as I see your point, BUT "Rough Justice" might just fit the bill.

Re: News International faces threats over hacked emails

You have no idea what you are talking about, you come over as a frustrated School Prefect. Senior GSM specialist here. A5.1 algorithm's damn strong (OK, if they used A5.0 - which China insists on, no problem as it's not encrypted).
However, that's not the issue. What they did was simply call the phone, and guess the 4-digit password to listen to the voicemail inbox. Many people don't reset the default password (0000, 1111, 1234, 5678 etc.) set when you buy the SIM card. That was the weakness NoTW exploited.
Radio scanners don't enter this equation. At all.
No, Carl. You're full of shit. Now piss off.

Re: News International faces threats over hacked emails

Lovely hack!!!!
"In his famous topiary garden".
"Topiary" being the pseudonym of the groups spokesman.
10 points, LulzSec!

Re: News International faces threats over hacked emails

ahhhhhh geeeeze, the hackers committed a crime and seanoll is upset at the lack of justice. Murdoch is a white collar criminal that has made a fortune peddling lies and propaganda his whole life. That I don’t know what I’m talking about?

Incidentally four fifths of this program now controls all the Worlds Digital Telecommunications Systems including digital Television. As to encrypted signals decryption now takes only milliseconds. Most mobile phones transmitters use microwave transmission even faster to decrypt.

Here is a link to proof document singed by Bt’s head of Design & Build.
