It's not too late. Come to Scotland and we'll let you sit in with an English class of 5 year olds. They should be at just about your level and if you work hard you should be able to keep up with them. We'll soon get you up to what passes for an education in England, the laughably named 'A' level. It's so inferior to a Scottish qualification that it should be called a 'Z' level. Or would you call that a "zee" level you American fool.

It would be good if you could improve your English to a level where it would be worth my while having a dialogue with you.

Shame about your schooling. It must be horrible your having to go through life feeling humiliated by your inability to correctly spell or write the Queen's English.

You never did explain why you think American spellings represent proper English grammar. Why is that? You clearly aren't English.

Weird that you flagged a lot of words that I've written which are correctly spelled using English spelling, as being incorrectly spelled. Do you think criticising and realise should be spelled with a 'z'? Do you think that endeavour, favourite and favour should be spelled as endeavor, favorite and favor? You are obviously someone who didn't learn English in England.

You seem to think American spellings are the correct way to spell English. Whatever you are you're no Englishman. You're someone else pretending to be English you lying hypocritical foreign scumbag.

In America there's pressure not to play the American national anthem. Hmmm, what anthem would they prefer?

Two places that we should be able to feel absolutely safe in this world - within our home, and within our own bodies. Home invasion is a despicable crime, even when it's a crime against the property; but when it's a crime against the person - there just aren't words to describe it, whoever the perpetrator.

It must be a generally happy place to live if people tend to dwell on the pleasant things at least. You sound like a generally happy person, Nancy.

yes there is pressure not to play the anthem- here and other places. the professor was killed and his wife, in the hospital, gave a sketch of a man- on going, not much news. it was a home invasion. not too much fear or suspicion strangely. out of sight out of mind kinda thing, weird. most people like to dwell on pleasant things around here, i haven't even heard anything on the news since right after the incident.i haven't heard of the update on how the wifes doing........i don't want to use the words hush,hush, but i can't seem to avoid it.

Interesting that a number of Muslim students from London Met have come out and said that they have not at any time asked the University to ban sale and consumption of alcohol on campus...and that they do not know of anyone from within the Muslim student body there who might have...

Are you serious that there is pressure not to play the national anthem at sporting events, where it traditionally has been played? Is this widespread across the US, or in small pockets?

Was the professor killed, and his wife injured, in a home invasion or were they out and about? Is the investigation ongoing? Was the injured woman able to give any clues about the identity of the attacker? If it's a small community, how has such an horrific event affected people? Is there suspicion and fear of each other; of strangers?
